Snoop Dogg, His Rumored Collaboration With BTS Is “Officially” Happening

Earlier this year, Snoop Dogg revealed that BTS had contacted him about a potential collaboration, making fans excited for the possibility of a collab between the two legendary artists.

On March 25 local time, The A.V. Club reported that Snoop Dogg had personally confirmed that he would be collaborating with BTS on new music but that he was waiting for BTS to reveal the details to the public. “The BTS experience you keep talking about,” said the American rapper, “I’m going to let them tell you about it.”

However, he did state that the collab was a sure thing, commenting, “It’s official like a referee with a whistle.”

Snoop Dogg, who has previously collaborated with various Korean artists including Girls’ Generation, 2NE1, PSY, and MONSTA X, went on to emphasize his love of K-pop. “I love that entertainment world,” he said. “It’s good music. It’s [a] vibe. I make good music. They make good music. And we end up doing this. This is what it’s always about, bringing our worlds together.”

“I’ve been experiencing the K-pop experience for a long time, connected to the music world [and] scene,” he continued. “I got a record with a group called 2NE1 back in the day. Come on now, it’s what I do.
